This is one of those Marseille-style bistros we’re so keen to nurture!

After a few gloomy decades as far as gastronomy is concerned, today, Marseille is once again serving up good food – even in the neighbourhood bars, which are very affordable. ‘OEufs mayonnaise’ (hard-boiled eggs with mayonnaise), Provençal-style sautéed pork, lasagne – and ‘fiadone’ cheesecake for dessert. The goal here is to nourish you. The place bursts
into life at lunchtime. Good to know: the team has just opened a crêperie on the Île du Frioul (Suzette).
