Restaurant and bar on the banks of the Clarée. This historic venue offers a warm welcome all year round, with its entirely home-cooked cuisine: generous, gourmet, local and with a touch of originality.

The bistro is one of the oldest businesses in Névache, acquired in the 1960s by Thérèse and Philippe Donzel. "Au Bon Coin" originally had eight guest rooms and was a popular meeting place for locals for coffee or an aperitif. It was also a grocery store, a souvenir shop, a tobacconist, and even a gas station! In 1992, Nicole and Gaston transformed the grocery store into a crêperie. After extensive renovations, their daughter, Pascale, opened a home decor shop and tea room in 2010, and converted the guest rooms into furnished rentals. Then Valérie and Jacques took over the establishment, and for more than 10 years, they enthusiastically and passionately expanded the restaurant offerings. Since May 2025, "Le Bon Coin" has been in the hands of Virginie and Térence. As a couple of qualified and passionate professionals, we look forward to welcoming you or seeing you again! Run by a couple of highly motivated natives, this beautiful mountain chalet is a place full of life. Inside, a warm atmosphere and wood decor, outside a terrace of light and shade surrounded by trees and mountains. And on the menu, simple, family-style cooking with a strong local accent, which already gives you a hankering for fondue and tartiflette! Or a gourmet plate of local tastes and colors.
A real favorite with hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts.
