This culinary third place within the Plan d’Aou multimedia library, a new outpost from Les Grands Tables, didn’t end up here by chance.
Chef Aurore Danthez and the team behind Les Grandes Tables set their sights on creating a place of life and learning in the heart of a cut-off neighbourhood in the north of the city. Local associations such as the Femmes du Plan d’Aou organise workshops there and use it to prepare meals. Independent food entrepreneurs are also invited to make use of its stoves. This is a real shared kitchen, where everyone pulls together. You can also come for a coffee, snack or lunch – all at low prices. What’s more, the road that leads up to this neighbourhood, above the Grand Littoral shopping centre, offers a breathtaking view of Marseille and the sea.
