La Forge is a renowned gourmet restaurant, nestled in the heart of the medieval village of Carros, in the hinterland of Nice. Claude, the chef-owner, has transformed an old communal inn into a charming restaurant.
The kitchen opens onto the main room in a decor combining contemporary and old stones. The second room, resolutely more modern, reveals a "Zen" atmosphere. When the weather is fine, the outdoor terrace opens out onto the pedestrianised village lane.
The cuisine is creative, refined and made to order. The recipes are based on fresh products from the region and pay tribute to truffles and revisited traditional products.
