Antoine Pierini was born in Antibes in 1980 into a family of artists. Pioneers of "Studio Glass Mouvement Français", his father, Robert Pierini, his uncle and aunt Alain and Marysa Begou, or Xavier Carrère, his cousin, are among the most famous French glassmakers, and have put the work of blown glass in the spotlight in the years 1980 to 2000.

Antoine Pierini's work can be seen at the Centre du Verre Contemporain, open in summer (April to September) from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6.30pm, and in winter (October to March) from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 6pm.
