Just a short flight from the heart of the Mercantour National Park, Franck's apiary is located in the Pia valley on an adret, in a wild area. The apiary is sedentary (no transhumance), the bees collect nectar from mountain flowers from June to September.
"To produce mountain honey, we have chosen sites at an altitude of 1000 and 2000 m where the raw, wild nature is as pure as possible. Depending on the massif where the hive is placed, our bees will not gather the same flowers and therefore the honey will have different subtleties."
