Annie Vandemalle, artist and painter. There's something instinctive about her creative process, which resembles that of children's games, resulting in works filled with dreamlike mystery or straight out of fairy tales.
In the manner of intuitive painters, Annie Vandemalle lets herself be guided by the creative energies that impel her to spontaneously color the white canvas. She likes to say that art is a form of co-creation, of interdependence, and her essential motivation: to let herself be in the creative process, to let penetrate the energies she receives “from nowhere else” or from “I don't know where”. Her work is based on oil pastels and is always very colorful.
