Atelier Zuliani is a space dedicated to ceramics, mainly focused on slab work. Aurélia Zuliani creates unique pieces for interior decoration and is also developing ‘Fragments of Light’, a project featuring ceramic light fixtures and wall sconces.
The ‘Fragments of Light’ project marks a new stage in the artist's research, at the crossroads of ceramics and interior design. The project explores the relationships between form, material and light, and is part of a reflection on the luminous object as a sensitive and architectural element.
Flooded with natural light, the studio accompanies every gesture and reveals the textures, volumes and nuances of the material. The open view invites calm and contemplation, making this a space conducive to research and experimentation. Material, light and time interact throughout the creative process.
The pieces are regularly presented in the studio in Saint-Paul de Vence, offering the public the opportunity to discover the work in progress. The studio's activities are punctuated by the creation of new pieces and the development of original series.
The workshop also offers introductory ceramics classes for all ages, with a focus on discovery, learning and sharing around the medium. These workshops also take place at the Maeght Foundation in summer.
