As mountain guides in the Ubaye valley, our Adventure & Altitude team are passionate about sports, trekking, mountain biking, skiing, all kinds of adventures and astronomy. We offer a wide range of adventures for you to enjoy with your family or friends.
In winter: snowshoe walks with or without sled dogs, aperitif evenings in a giant igloo, children's days, astronomy in a planetarium unique in France!
In summer: mountain walks and hikes, two-wheeler outings, astronomy evenings, youth breaks.
Our base camp: Barcelonnette, from where we can explore all the Southern Alps with you, between Queyras, Ecrins and Mercantour. Whether you're a family with little ones or a group of seasoned sportsmen and women, you can enjoy a range of multi-activity experiences and contemplation, all in good humour!

Our winter activities :
- Dog-sleigh driving or dog-sleigh baptism and half-day snowshoe hikes.
- Discover the Iglwood planetarium, the only one of its kind in France, during an unforgettable astronomy session with a torchlit snowshoe walk.
- An Apér'Igloo evening (aperitif) and Fond'Igloo evening (ubayenne fondue) in a giant Igloo at Pra Loup 1600 with a torchlit snowshoe walk.
- Les Petits explorateurs d'hiver, a family snowshoe hike to discover the basics of survival in a snowy environment.
- A snowshoe hike to discover the wild fauna, just like a real National Park ranger, and learn how to count biodiversity.
- A Youth Adventure Day for children aged 9 to 15, without parents! Snowshoe exploration, ‘Mike Horn’ survival techniques and an original Planetarium Astronomy session! We'll transport all 8 participants!
- Avalanche Escape in Le Sauze: an avalanche is threatening the area. Find the equipment you need by solving the riddles and managing your stress and emotions.
- Electric mountain biking: an exclusive 2-wheeled adventure through snow-covered landscapes with electric power for a unique experience and sensations.
- Après-ski snow scooter: a sensational blend of mountain biking and downhill skiing with a stand-up position, an exceptional souvenir for mountain bikers... or not.
- Special après-ski outing with a tasting of local produce and sunbathing with dedicated sunglasses.
