The BaraTi'Pain organic bakery is located in the centre of the village of Baratier. We are two partners, Nicolas and Aurélien, who want to promote traditional bakery by offering quality breads that are tasty, easy to digest, nutritious and that keep well.
Our breads are sold by weight.
We maintain our sourdoughs of rye, wheat, small spelt, rice, khorasan (an ancestor of durum wheat that originated in Iran)...
You'll find:
- Country and seed breads, small spelt, khorasan, rye breads...
- Rice breads fermented with rice sourdough: rice/seed, rice/ortie, rice/goat...
- real chocolate bread (pougnous choco)
- Viennese pastries with pure butter brioche and oil pumps
- homemade croissants outside July-August
- sweet or savoury biscuits: canestrelli with aniseed, spices, mountain honey crunchies, seed crackers, coconut rochers, navettes..
- panettone made with natural hard leaven (about once a month)
Groceries are also on sale at the bakery, including Lupi Coffee, coffee and tea, as well as local products, local herbal teas, honeys, jams, pâtés, spreads, etc.
