Olivier Brunaud first caught the bug for sport with soccer, achieving a good level before hanging up his boots after deciding he had had enough. Moto-cross champion Jean-Michel Bayle had the privilege of passing on something new to Olivier - the mountain biking bug.
Olivier tells us of his “instant attraction for the sport, where physical performance meets the outdoors” - a sport which was destined to become his bread and butter. As a qualified mountain-biking instructor, Olivier is the proud coach of an MTB team achieving places on the podium up to national level.
Olivier has even taken up residence in the Ventoux area, at Chalet Reynard. After over 20 years on the scene, “EGOBIKE”, the organisation founded by him has become a label, a brand, a state of mind. Olivier guides and trains amateur riders of all levels, from beginners to experts, on the slopes of Mont Ventoux and on secret trails known only to him.
