The French Ski School provides individual and group courses for children and adults. They are graduates from the French academy Ski instructors and they will teach you the basics to become an accomplished skier :)
The French ski school from La Grave is ideally located, full South and facing the Meije mountain and its glacier. It offers you the opportunity to progress in your skiing, snowboarding & telemark skills, in a huge and amazing setting.
For children & adults, groups or individual learners.

The ESF offers for the Christmas holidays, coaching for the day on the ski area of Le Chazelet:
From 10h to 12h: group lessons
From 12h to 12h30: lunch
From 12:30 to 1:45 p.m.: private lessons
13h45 to 14h: pause
From 14h to 16h: group lessons
Cost € 125 / child ( meal and skipass not included)

From beginner to advanced skiers, alone, with family or friends, come and relax or hurtle down the slopes in ski, snowboard, telemark ... our instructors will accompany you so that your stay is according to your desire.

For the little Ones: the Kinder Garden, starting from 3 years
-Learn While having fun: Your child, accompanied by Piou-Piou, Siflotte, Blanchot and Garolou, will learn ski and snow in a 100% secure environment !
-The ESF ski instructors will teach them the basics of skiing in a fun way and in good spirits.
-We Welcome children from the age of 4 years with the offer "collective during the week."
-For The first time or for children aged 3 years, we advise you to do a test half-day kindergarten before enrolling your child for the week. The ticket purchase will be deducted on the card "week" at the end of this essay.

Training Course "stars":
-Skiing Alone on the easiest slopes for some, gain ease, improve, refine their technique to others ... but for all: have fun with friends!
-Friday, the awaited moment ! the passing of the stars " snow flake, 1st, 2nd and 3rd star"!

Training Course "competition":
-We perfected our style in good humor and friendliness ! Being able to evolve in all snow conditions and terrain (bumps, powder, ...), fight against the stopwatch (slalom) and, of courseat the end of the week , passing tests (bronze star, gold star, arrow, chamois, ....)
- The + : possibilities according ski levels, weather and snow conditions to ski on the spot of the cable car of La Grave at the end of the the week (with additional cost).
-If you wish to confront in stopwatches or improve your technique in stakes, the Competition Training Course are also open to adults!

New !!!!! Training Course "off piste"
-Good level skiers or snowboarders, discover the great outdoors with us !
-This Course is aimed at audiences aged 14 and older (parental discharge required for minors).
-Level required: Bronze Star-Class 4
-Improvement in all snow conditions, snow studies, DVA use, ...
-Depending on the snow and weather condition , trainees will perform on the spot of La Grave, Le Chazelet, Serre Chevalier or short ski touring.
-Wearing a DVA (Avalanche Victim Research ) and a helmet are REQUIRED and a " backbone " deeply advised !

Private lessons: Choose your program!
- Initiation to competition
-Only Family or with friends
-Ski, Snowboard, telemark, backcountry, slalom, ....
-French, English, Italian or Spanish!
Two options are available to you:
-The private lessons (max 4 people)
-The commitments on half day or full day (max 8 people)

The french school holidays is a busy time, we recommend you to make your reservations two weeks before your arrival .

Reservations for a single private lessons are possible only at the ESF welcome chalet, according to availability. Before returning the booking form for your private lessons, give a call to Sandrine at the ESF, to check availability of the selected date and hour and to choose your preferred ski instructor !!!
