A pillar of Marseille's shipping industry, Icard maritime is the fruit of a wonderful human adventure. In the early days, Jean Michel Icard had just one boat, delivering vegetables on the Frioul! Today, he heads up a highly diversified business, including tourist transport in the Calanques, and has a fleet of 5 vessels.
Hélios, the 1st vessel with hybrid propulsion (diesel-electric), was designed with a view to preserving the environment and enjoying the pleasure of "sailing while listening to the cicadas"! This ambitious and committed project has enabled the Marseilles-based entrepreneur to promote his Calanques tour under the Esprit Parc National brand.
