The Café Musiques La Fonderie Association has been organizing the Zik Zac Festival, a festival of contemporary world music, in Aix en Provence since 1998.

For more than 30 years, the association has been carrying out various missions focused on contemporary music along two main lines: total openness to the world, to innovative cultures and styles, and access to the widest possible audience by choosing to make their events free of charge. Thanks to its experience, La Fonderie is a major player on the contemporary music scene in the Aix region.
La Fonderie acts in accordance with both human and professional values in its activities, demanding artistic quality, working with local actors, ensuring a family atmosphere and encouraging eco-responsible actions. Through its various projects, La Fonderie seeks to bring together artistic creations and audiences in a friendly and festive atmosphere that is accessible to all.
