Joël Rat, first a jeweller, has turned to sculpture since a decade ago. His characters full of humor represent people in situation.
Yoyo works with copper and steel to make his figurines, by diverting everyday objects such as nuts, bolts, washers, car candles and other screws that become the materials of his metal sculptures. He also makes effigies, mostly in copper, depicting scenes of everyday life.
