The ROC ÉCRINS team welcomes you all year round to its premises in L'Argentière-La Bessée, 5 minutes from the SNCF station, from 8.30am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 6pm every day. It's our base camp before heading off into the mountains to climb, ski, hike...

Welcome, equipment, comfort and reassurance await you.
You'll be welcomed by Aurélie, Claire, Emilie or Frédéric, our mountain guides.
We offer French and European branded products for hire and sale, whose components and manufacturing methods have a moderate impact on the environment.

All equipment, particularly ski touring and mountaineering boots, can be hired and then bought second-hand or new.

All mountaineering equipment: harness, helmet, ice axe, crampons, rucksack, walking poles, mountaineering boots, etc.
CLIMBING and VIA FERRATA equipment: ropes, helmets, harnesses, quickdraws, karabiners, straps, belay devices, chalk, training aids,
In winter, all the ice climbing equipment is available: ice axes specifically for ice climbing, helmets, harnesses, rucksacks and crampons specifically for ice climbing.
There's also a brand new range of Dynafit HIKING SKI equipment, with skis of all sizes and widths. Boots from a variety of brands to suit every foot shape.

K2 SPLITBOARDS (HIKING SNOWBOARDS) of all sizes are also available for hire and sale.
