Société Nautique de La Ciotat

The Société Nautique de La Ciotat is a year-round sailing school offering beginners to advanced courses in optimist, dinghy, catamaran, windsurf and Open 5.70.

Courses are organised for children aged 5 and over during the school holidays in optimist, dinghy, catamaran or windsurf.

Windsurfers, dinghies and catamarans are available for hire during the school holidays.

If you'd like to take a private lesson, experienced instructors will be on hand to help you progress and make the most of your time on the water.

The rowing section offers recreational rowing sessions supervised and secured by a trainer. Rowers with a validated level of autonomy can row every day, weather permitting.
Courses for 13-year-olds and over are also available during the school holidays.
The competition section prepares youngsters and seniors to take part in regional, national and international competitions.

With Handi-voile, the club offers disabled people the opportunity to sail all year round aboard small sailboats called MINI J. Adapted equipment (crane for launching the boats, lift for boarding people with reduced mobility) makes them accessible to all. They are steered using a steering wheel or a rudder bar, and can be adapted to suit any disability.
