Terres de Tamaris

100 allée Paul Page, Tamaris, 83500 La Seyne-sur-Mer
Artist's workshop. Sculptures in terracotta, acrylic paintings and original oils. Personalized orders possible. Training and courses by appointment from 15 years old.
The workshop is open in the afternoon for visits and direct sales.
The Terre de Tamaris workshop welcomes you to a listed historic site, the former post office built by Michel Pacha in 1890.

Terracotta sculptures and ceramics are made in unique pieces with clay and stoneware of various colours. In a concern for sustainable development, coloured engobes are preferred to glazes.

The order for a garden (high-temperature waterproof stoneware) or for an interior (low-temperature earthenware) is enhanced by a study in situ if necessary.

Your desires are my projects!

The workshop advocates the use of coloured engobes (natural earths and pigments) covered with a transparent glaze (silica) rather than coloured glazes which are made up of metallic oxides. The coloured glazes used in the workshop are guaranteed to be lead-free, for culinary use and in very small quantities to limit waste water during manufacture.
