Just imagine it: a house with a holiday feel all year round, in summer and in winter! Sometimes all it takes is a sunny note to create a summery atmosphere. The Provence brand has associated with Elsa Lenthal, a lavender artisan – she makes it into spindles following a hundred-year-old Provencal savoir-faire – to offer an exclusive collection for the home:

The contemporary Provencal-style prints were designed by Alice Van de Walle, the resident artist at l’Auberge de la Fenière, the starred establishment owned by chef Nadia Sammut in the Luberon. A 100% South of France decor which is not only stylish but also gives off a sweet smell of lavender all around the house, so it feels like summer every day of the year.

She has lavender and Provence in her blood

A child of Les Baux-de-Provence, Elsa Lenthal was introduced to lavender spindle weaving at the age of 10 by her mother and grandmother. As a student, she sold her work in Provencal markets. She made her career in the Parisian film milieu, and then in Asia, but never gave up her passion. In 2015, back in Provence, she created her crafts company around lavender, the quintessential Provencal flower which marked her childhood. That was the start of a great adventure in Provencal savoir-faire! She currently sells lavender spindles, scented cushions and candles, and smudge sticks.

The Provence brand promotes our territory and our savoir-faire in France and all over the world. It draws its inspiration from the light, colours and landscapes of the Sud region where each year, from mid-June to mid-July, the blue gold of Provence shapes the plains and plateaus, fascinating the whole world with its colour and its sweet smell. Provence brand licenced products are all made in a reasoned way. The hybrid lavender flowers used for this range are produced in Sault, in the Vaucluse, and the objects are made locally in the Alpilles. Elsa Lenthal also privileges local and solidarity economies and works with marginalised groups.
