Chapelle de l'Assomption is a religious edifice built in the first half of the 18th century. On the right, the leaning campanile "à l'italienne". Flamboyant Baroque decoration.
Built in 1725 by La Brigue's oldest brotherhood of penitents, the "blancs" du gonfalon. Its facade is an example of Ligurian-influenced late Baroque architecture, surmounted by a scalloped pediment.
Its slightly sloping campanile is topped by a small dome. The decoration was completed in 1850. The niches contain statues of the Assumption Virgin, St. Joseph and St. Lucy, patron saints of the brotherhood.
The trompe l'oeil ad fresco ornaments were restored in 1965.
