Bastide de la Magalone

Its construction dates from the end of the 17th century, a time of architectural innovation and research. Directly inspired by Italian architects, the Bastide is designed in a confusing way, mixing elements of classical and baroque styles. A 200 sqm hall, now with parquet flooring, occupies the whole of the ground floor, while in the wings a boudoir and a library open onto the elaborately designed garden, with a small wood, an avenue of plane trees, boulingrins, rose gardens, fountains,...
