The world's first museum entirely dedicated to the work of Pierre Bonnard, a key figure in the art of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Painter of intimacy, of nature, "painter of happiness" and of colors, Pierre Bonnard liked to handle his palette in the light of the South.
He stayed in Canet for nearly 25 years. A tireless source of inspiration, it was here that he produced more than 300 works, including some of his most beautiful. The museum dedicated to him is a fair return of things... For the greatest pleasure of the visitors, this monograph concentrated on the period of Canet presents emblematic paintings of his art.
