A permanent exhibition room presenting the different kind of coins minted in Marseille. The oldest workshops in the West and in provencal during 2400 years ( 6 century BC 1857) and exchanges with theirs economic partners.
For numismatic enthusiasts, the Cabinet des Monnaies et Médailles of Marseille holds unsuspected surprises. Located in the Municipal Archives, it houses priceless collections of nearly 40,000 objects from all eras, as well as an extremely rich collection of studies.
