Self-guided tours are available for a fee (signs are posted along the tour route). A fascinating adventure for young and old. One of the most beautiful mineralogical sites in the world! An exceptional site located at the summit of Cap Garonne, with panoramic views over the Iles d'Hyères and the Toulon harbor, and numerous hiking trails all around. Visits at an additional cost: - Self-guided tour - Documentation available for foreign visitors (English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian). - Please contact us for details of times and group bookings. FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED : - Accompanied access for people with reduced mobility - A document is available for the hearing-impaired. EVENTS : - Easter egg hunt on Easter weekend - Museum night - European Heritage Days: 3rd weekend in September -HalloMine on October 31 to celebrate Halloween NOTES : -The temperature in the galleries in summer and winter is around 15°C, so remember to bundle up. -Helmets must be worn (charlotte available). -Museum accessible to disabled visitors. - From mid-June to mid-September: in case of extreme fire risk (risk map in red E ): please contact the museum.
