In a dominant position at the border of the hill of Ventabren, the Castle offers a panoramic view of the average Valley of the Arc for increased surveillance of the territory. A simple architecture, his periods of construction would be included between the 12th and 17th centuries. The castle was first under the rule of the Lords of the leases, and then of Queen Jeanne and in the 15th century Henry IV donated land to family Gaillard Longjumeau.Abandoned first, the castle was partly destroyed during the French Revolution in 1789. Included on the inventory of historical monuments in 1989, it has undergone several slices of consolidation.
