The ancient Romanesque cathedral bears witness to the rich past of Senez, established as a bishopric as early as the 5th century.
Excavations carried out in the building in 2018 uncovered an early Christian church dating back to Antiquity, as well as an exceptional collection of wall paintings and burials.

Guided tours of the cathedral and village are available all year round for groups, and for individuals in July and August only. Duration: approx. 1h30.
