The Guicharde cemetery is one of the two municipal cemeteries of the town of Sanary-sur-Mer and the most recent since it opened in the middle of the 20th century.
The old cemetery of Sanary being insufficient, the municipality opens a new cemetery on a flat land in the 1950s. It was enlarged in 1980. Rectangular in plan, the straight paths intersect at right angles and some are planted with trees.
