A little way from La Blaisance Valley, the village Chanousse is perched on a spur dominating the valley whose church is adorned with an original sundial created in 2003 on the southeast façade.

Its dictum is:
"The shadow here marks moments of happiness, take the peace that I offer you and share it freely on your journey."
On the other side of the valley, the hamlet Les Courtilles is home to Saint Anne Chapel.
