Chapelle Notre-Dame des Anges, Route de Pertuis, 84160 Cadenet
500 metres from the village in the direction of Pertuis, this small building stands on a former 1st century Roman site. This chapel was most probably founded by the Saint-Victor Abbey in the 11th century and little remains of the original Priory, which was badly damaged by the Laval river floods. In the 12th and 13th century, the chapel even outshone the parish church. Abandoned in the 14th century, the building fell into ruin until parishioners returned in search of protection during the Plague in 1720.
