The village of Villecroze-les-Grottes has preserved its authenticity and its medieval character. We are in a maze of narrow streets with vaulted passages, arcades, squares, campanile and fountains.
Overlooking a remarkable wooded park, rich in Mediterranean species, the tuff cliff houses the troglodyte caves, fortified and classified since 1924. The cascade of 35 meters covering it offers a touch of freshness.
The village is leaned against the foothills of the Alps, surrounded by a cirque of hills covered with pines and holm oaks which is home to mistral. It is classified "Village of Character" and has the label 2 flowers for the villages in bloom.
