Located at the gateway to the Pays Gapençais, on the Buëch territory, come and discover the Château de Montmaur on a guided or self-guided tour.

Classified as a Historic Monument!
This handsome château is the former residence of the local feudal lords. Located a few kilometres from Gap, it was built in the 14th century and modified in the 16th and 17th centuries. Things to see: mullion windows, wall paintings, huge French-style larch beam ceilings, massive fireplaces and carved doors. Guided tours run throughout the summer, guided tours on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays in July and August.
