Château Malijay is a 140-hectare wine estate in the commune of Jonquières between the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas, in the southern area of AOC Côtes du Rhône.
Its 18th century château gives the place a bewitching charm.
Today, the Château produces AOC Côtes du Rhône, AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Plan de Dieu and IGP Vaucluse, Principauté d'Orange. These wines are made with full respect for local conditions and with the aim of reproducing the typical character of Côtes du Rhône wines.
The unique setting of Château Malijay is sure to delight tourists and local visitors in both winter and summer. The Deltin family, who now own the estate, fell in love with it in 2007. Over 130 hectares of vines surround a building dating from the 11th century and rebuilt in the 18th century in its current form.
