Built in the 16th century, this church contains exceptional furnishings, notably the beautiful organs, classified as "Monument Historique", built in 1668 by Charles Royer.
The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is the result of the enlargement in the 16th century of a Romanesque chapel dedicated to Saint Peter. A parish church since 1524, it was a collegiate church from 1653 to 1790. The beautiful wrought iron bell tower was built in 1626. The hour bell dates from 1667 (M.H). The choir (15th/16th century) is in the Gothic style. The large vault was rebuilt in 1756. The high altar (M.H) in polychrome marble dates from 1772. The organs (M.H) were built in 1668...
