A clock tower stands at the corner of rue de l'Horloge, on the Place de la Fontaine below.
In Provence, it is the first monument built to the glory of the municipal administrations which, under the Ancien Régime, thus showed that they had the power to regulate the time of the villagers. Campaniles, a kind of openwork iron cage that traps the bell, would be used to break the force of the winds, so as to prevent the bell from ringing unexpectedly. The latter, made of bronze, was cast in 1782. Classified, it weighs 225 kilos (500 pounds).
