Colonel Chabrières Bridge

  • Historic site and monument
Place François Mitterrand, 84500 Bollène
Powerfull medieval bridge that spans the Lez.
Crossing the "Lez" work in this construction begins in 1312. However, the terrible floods o the river that weaken the bridge over the centuries require the community to rebuild it in part in 1624. Its medieval aspect remains apparent with its three arches reinforced by solid piers each equipped with triangular cut-waters on either side.
