The Conservatoire du santon Provençal, inaugurated in 2017, was created by santon maker Henri Vezolles. Surrounded by fellow collectors, they decided to exhibit their finest santons to the public.
This is undoubtedly one of the richest santon museums in Provence. In an 18th-century house, you can admire the works of the greatest Provencal santon makers, past and present.
In addition to the works of fifteen "Meilleurs Ouvriers de France" (Best Craftsmen of France) santon makers, you'll find the entire history of Provencal santons on display over 160 m2.
More than 2,000 santons made by over 100 santon-makers from the 19th to the 21st century give you the most complete overview of this popular art form, which is so characteristic of Provencal Christmas.
