This is the story of a meeting between Bernard Keyser, the owner of the wine bar "Le Papillon" and Eric Di Fruscia, an artist from Cotignac.
Eric Di Fruscia suggested to Bernard Keyser to exhibit a monumental work outside.
The town council gives its approval and the work is installed.
Weighing 750 kg, the work was deposited by a crane and wedged in place.
"I work with plasma steel to obtain like lava flows or wood grainings. The idea here, as we are at the lake, was to represent a sail," explains the artist. The name of the work? "Casting 5,812, because that's its height in millimetres."
