16th century
During the Renaissance, the town enjoyed a period of relative prosperity, prompting noble families to build or rebuild large mansions. The result was a surge of creativity inspired by Antiquity.
Built in the late 16th century, the three-storey Hôtel de Donines, topped by an attic, is a fine example. The façade was completely restored in 2007.
