As indicated in the 1906 census, there is no affiliation with the main town where the church, presbytery and town hall are located.
This village of 119 inhabitants in 1906 and now has 18, is made of three hamlets : Les Rougiers, Le Villard and Le Col. The church, nestled against the mountainside, is situated midway between these hamlets. The current church was built in 1866, replacing the one mentioned in 1793 on the Napoléon cadastre, located further down near the ravine and ended up collapsing. Noteworthy features include : the campanile-like bell tower, common in northern Italy and during the first romanesque period of the 11th century and early 12th century.
There is a small structure attached to the east side which is not visible from the inside.
It is decorated with a Saint Sebastian painting, a GUIDO RENI artwork copy, which was close to going to the Compiègne museum if the municipal council had not declined the financial offers !!!
There is also a painting of the Holy Family, inspired by a model from Raphael.
