It was rebuilt a few years later, with the year 1437 engraved on the bell tower, attesting to either its restoration or the destruction of Beauvillar, a highly distressing episode in the history of Seyne. It was damaged again during the Wars of Religion by protestants troops in 1586, but then restored in 1605.
