This religious building was built between 1626 and 1629 in the hamlet of Clastres to replace the old ruined church. Its small size and remoteness of the village explained by the small number of Catholics in Saint Martin de Brasque families. The majority of the population is, in fact, Waldensian origin (ancient Christian sect). The vaulted nave broken barrel ended with a continuous apse in the oven make a building with unique architecture. Front, the porch is surmounted by a tower wall pierced berry dated nineteenth century. The adjoining presbytery, private assets of the diocese, was recently rehabilitated and highlighting the dilapidated state of the facade of the church. Not having undergone restoration work since its construction, the Saint-Martin church Brasque requires essential maintenance work to safeguard it.
