In 1843, the former chapel of La Bourdonnière became a parish church. Built in the 17th century, it was renovated and enlarged in 1841 by the Sauvaire family, who owned the property.
It was in 1847, that were solemnly laid the first stones of the St. Laurent Church. In October 1849, the building was already covered, and in December 1850 the work was completed and Bishop de Mazenod blessed the new building.Today Parish Church of the Logis Neuf.
