The church of Albaron already existed in the Middle Ages, when it was part of the castle of the same name. Erected under the name of Saint-Vincent, it became a parish in 1230.
Ruined by the Wars of Religion, it was rebuilt in 1638. Thanks to the will of Archbishop J. Aubert de Barrault and the generosity of Don Antoine de Rampelle, it was rebuilt at the expense of the faithful.
It was devastated during the French Revolution. The present church was built in 1884.
