Established in Brussels in 2018, the Fondation Thalie has also moved to Arles, a stone's throw from the arena.
The Thalie Foundation aims to promote dialogue between the visual arts and know-how through its program of exhibitions and residencies, and to highlight the role of contemporary creation in the climate transition through its program of conferences and podcasts "Creators facing the climate emergency", which we run in partnership with ENSAD Paris.
In a completely renovated 18th-century mansion at the foot of the Arènes, the inaugural "Persephone" exhibition presents the work of artist-designer Jeanne Vicerial and photographer Leslie Moquin, in dialogue with site-specific commissions (Adrien Vescovi, Sylvie Auvray, Rina Banerjee) and a selection of works from the Foundation's collection.
