The Aumade fountain is located below the GR99 linking Quinson to Artignosc-sur-Verdon via the Domaine de la Tour, in the hamlet of Villeneuve.
It can be reached by following the GR99, taking the path past the Domaine de la Tour and passing the old sheepfold.
The fountain is a washtub, watering trough and animal trough, all essential elements of daily life in the countryside at the time. Carved into the rock, the washtub has one or two sloping sides for rubbing and beating laundry, and the fountain has a total of three troughs.
This site is not accessible by vehicle, but you can park your car near the cistern on your left, 1km before the Domaine de la Tour.
