This fountain was built in 1926 at the initiative of the municipality.
The fountain, fed by the spring of the Entraunes valley, is composed of two adjoining elements.
On the one hand, there is a chiselled conch resting against a rectangular backsplash. This massive distribution drum is topped with a bevelled cut stone on which the date of inauguration is engraved. The water flows through a curved brass barrel representing a duck. Two crutch bars allow the buckets to be placed on it. A hemispherical concrete slab precedes the fountain, allowing the ground to be levelled.
On the other hand, there is a rectangular basin made of local stone, brickworked and joined together. This basin also acts as a fountain. The slates were placed as curbstone. Two crutch bars allow the buckets to be placed on it. The water is distributed by an angel carrying a jug, painted green.
