Located in the heart of the village of Pierrefeu-du-Var, opposite the tourist office.
On 16 August 2018, a new stele was inaugurated, in memory of three American pilots who fell in an air battle on 27 January 1944 on the heights of Pierrefeu-du-Var, and whose remains were discovered by a local man.
After a long and tedious search, the families of the three pilots have been found.
