Painted walls dotted around the city share the limelight, illustrating mythical scenes and icons from the world of cinema. From the Croisette to the old town of Le Suquet, these works of 7th Art offer a different way of seeing the city.
The 172-metre-long, 447-square-metre Dibond mural was created by graphic designer Yannick Bretin. His graphic style blends pop art, contemporary street art and psychedelic aesthetics from the 1970s and 1980s, with nods to manga heroes and cartoon characters from the 1980s.
Located under the expressway, the Ferrage tunnel, a major thoroughfare in the city centre, has been transformed by this work into a vibrant passageway of light and creativity.
