Built in 1676 for Pierre d'Agut, a member of parliament, this beautiful building is representative of Aix's early Baroque style. Jean Claude Rambot decorated the entrance with an atlantean-caryatid couple, unique in Aix-en-Provence.
Renovation of the building's facades in 2005, in partnership with the DRAC, the SDAP and under the aegis of the Bâtiments de France architect, enabled this jewel in the town's crown to be saved. Renovated at the same time as the facades, the magnificent entrance door gives access to the main stairwell.
