This old sawmill, restored in 2006, is a jewel of mastery and know-how of our elders. You will relive the gestures of the 50s during a demonstration of board cutting.

The timber cut from mountain woods (larch, fir and spruce) was used mainly for local needs. Water diverted from the nearby torrent drives the cup wheel, which in turn drives the belts, which in turn drive the beating saw.
